LEGAL & PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This policy describes Vsmate's general approach to personal data. The details applicable to a particular campaign may also be governed by the relevant contract and data-protection arrangements.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by MATICONE LTD ("Vsmate", "we", "us" or "our"). Our business address is listed on the Contact page. For processing activities where we determine the purposes and means of processing personal data, we act as a controller. Our role may differ for particular advertising-related activities depending on the facts and applicable agreements.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal data processed in connection with this website, business enquiries and communications, and our programmatic display advertising activities, to the extent applicable. Specific campaign or partner arrangements may be supplemented by separate notices or contracts.

3. Categories of data

Depending on the interaction or service, we may process business contact details; correspondence and information supplied in enquiries; contract, billing and account records; website technical and security information such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and access logs; and information associated with advertising transactions, such as bid-request fields, online identifiers, device or browser signals, ad opportunity details, bid information and campaign delivery or reporting records.

The data processed for a particular activity depends on the information received, the relevant integration and the services being provided.

4. Purposes and lawful bases

Personal data may be used to respond to enquiries, manage business relationships and contracts, operate and secure services, execute or support programmatic display campaigns, provide campaign reporting, maintain business and financial records, and comply with legal obligations.

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on an appropriate lawful basis for each processing activity. Depending on the circumstances, this may include taking steps at an individual's request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by an individual's rights, or consent where required by law.

5. Programmatic advertising and RTB

Vsmate operates a DSP/RTB platform for programmatic display advertising and connects with multiple third-party advertising exchanges and supply-side platforms (SSPs). Depending on the relevant transaction and integration, information may be exchanged with the applicable supply partner and used to evaluate or submit bids, execute campaign buying and support campaign reporting. The data involved and each party's legal role depend on the particular data flow, contract and applicable law.

We do not use this policy to imply that every exchange, advertiser or partner processes the same data or performs the same role. Information is handled in accordance with applicable agreements and legal requirements.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This website may process essential technical information needed to deliver, protect and maintain the site. Any non-essential cookies or similar technologies, such as analytics or advertising technologies, should be used only where appropriate notices and any legally required consent or controls are in place. Browser settings may also allow you to control some cookies, although disabling them may affect website functionality.

7. Sharing personal data

Where necessary for the purposes described above, personal data may be shared with relevant advertisers, exchanges or SSPs, technology and hosting providers, communications providers, professional advisers, accounting or payment providers, and public authorities where disclosure is required by law. The actual recipients depend on the service, transaction and applicable arrangements. We do not describe a category here as a current supplier unless it is used for the relevant activity.

8. International transfers

Depending on the location of relevant service providers and advertising partners, personal data may be accessed or processed outside the United Kingdom. Where data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, appropriate safeguards will be used for the transfer concerned.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, taking account of contractual needs, legal and accounting obligations, security requirements and the resolution of disputes. Retention periods can therefore differ between enquiries, business records, technical logs and advertising transaction or reporting data. Data is deleted or otherwise disposed of when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate retention needs.

10. Security

We take steps intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Access to personal data should be limited to people and providers who need it for legitimate business or operational purposes.

11. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal data, correction, erasure or restriction of processing, to object to certain processing, or to request data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

To make a request, contact privacy@vsmate.com. We may need to verify your identity or ask for further information to understand your request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

12. Children

Vsmate's business services and this website are intended for business and advertising-related use, not for children. If you believe personal data relating to a child has been provided to us inappropriately, please contact us so that we can assess the matter.

13. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy to reflect changes in our activities, services or legal obligations. The "Last updated" date indicates the date of the latest substantive change to this policy.
